Howard is a very small school with a huge campus that is surrounded by the Oakland Foothills. Howard Elementary used to be a great school, but has tremendously declined after years of losing great principals. Howard has the benefit of having a few seasoned veterans for teachers. But lacks overall leadership. The PTA is a joke. And now students are suffering with 3rd and 4th grade mixed classes. 4th and 5th grade mixed classes. And a Kindergarten room with almost 30 kids. Is this for real??? Howard could be a great school but it isnt.
The teachers are great, the parents are great its on a beautiful hill with a beautiful view, the only thing lacking is money.
