The principal,Mrs.Dana Stafford is a great advocate for each child and believes strongly in including all children in the very best the school has to offer.The entire staff has a positive 'can do' attitude!!

My child started at roan creek in fourth grade. He is now in fifth grade and has had great academic success there. The teachers, with the exception of a few, are fine. However, the principal and vice principal i cannot say the same for. The school has a bullying problem wich they refuse to acknowledge or deal with and because of this, the good students suffer. My son has been directly affected by this problem and despite the fact that he is an excellent, above-average student, who has never been a problem, my son was given disciplinary action. Also, the arrogant attitude of the principal, dana stafford, is not only insulting but infuriating. With new administration this could possibly be a much better school.

The 2006-2007 school year was our first at Roan Creek Elementary School. We are extremely pleased with the school. Everyone involved with the school is wonderful! The principal, secretary, nurse and most certainly the teachers! I can not say enough great things about Roan Creek. They do a lot of great things at the school - RIF (Reading is Fun) - giving books to the children, field day, the library party, etc... As a parent, I have felt very welcome there. I was able to help in one of my children's classes. It was a good way to keep up with things that are going on in the classroom and in the school. All three of my kids had great teachers. I couldn't be happier! Roan Creek Elementary is a great school!
