As an Alum of Lakeshore High School, I can honestly say that the staff and curriculum will prepare you for college and beyond. I'm entering my Master's degree program and I am indebted to the staff at LHS for the preparation I received. I moved to Lakeshore my sophomore year of high school and was immediately accepted. One staff member even told my parents it was like I had gone there since elementary school. It is a welcoming community and I would recommend anyone to move to Stevensville or Baroda so their children can attend Lakeshore Public Schools.

I attended this school a few years ago.. The students were bullies... I had no friends there because all of the students were stuck up....Lakeshore only cares about money..so if they didn't have money they'd probably be a 'C' grade school...plus, if you don't have money, you won't fit in with the other students.

I was shocked to attend college and find they were using the same book that I used at Lakeshore 3 yrs prior and Lakeshore covered it in more detail!!!

My 4 children graduated from Lakeshore well-prepared to attend and graduate from college. I am seeing more diversity among the students, albeit there could be a greater mix. I'm sure that will come. One daughter was in the Math/Science Center, which enabled her to learn at a higher level/faster pace and also earned her college credits. The band program is excellent for teaching leadership, team work and the rewards of hard work, having taken 1st place and no lower than 3rd the past 10 years. It was selected to represent the entire state at the WWII memorial dedication in D.C., an incredible honor. I'm proud to recommend LHHS as an excellent school.
