This is my daughter's first year.. at the school. She is in Kindergarten.. and it has been so positive and supportive for her. She loves it there.
P.S. 41 Is one of the best run schools i've ever seen. Its academic program is equal to charter schools and it just received a brand new school yard thanx to mrs. Feldman the principal, the teachers and staff of the school are the best!!
Overall the school seems great academically. My son is very happy there, and his teacher is very thorough. However, the administration, especially the principal are very aloof. The PTA mothers tend to ostracize other parents. They also lack enough physical activities and considering that fact that their school yard has been 'under construction' for over a year, my son is cooped up and doesn't have sufficient amount of physical activity during the day.
