I wouldn't even give this school 1 star but for the sake of a couple of good teachers that are there. My kids, my husband and I absolutley hated this school, we rejoiced when we left. Class sizes were way to large, the kids (on the whole) of course not all but on the average are cruel and nasty and very clicky which leads to the parents (not all ) who were just as bad. If you are an A student who is quiet you are in the right spot. If you are a student who needs extra help or has any learning disability forget it, Fighting tooth and nail to get the legal servies you are intitled to wears you out. I disagreed with the prinicpal on just about every occasion but she has her favorites (parents and teachers) and will alwasy side with them. This was our experience.

A top-notch school on every level! The principal and instructors are very dedicated and really care about the quality of education the students receive, as well as providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment. There is a very involved and supportive PTO here, and the activities and services they provide are extremely beneficial to the school. It really feels like a 'family', and there is a great deal of pride in this school on the part of staff and students.

I cannot believe the education my child has received -- professional, innovative, enthusiastic. The teachers, while making learning 'fun', have kept a steady eye on the necessary test preparations. The principal and reading specialist are top-notch, consistently trying to infuse excitement into learning programs. Additionally, parent involvement in the school really make it a Premiere Place to send young people. Go M.R.S.! Jennifer Metcalf
