I'm stunned by all the good reviews. That has not been my experience at this school at all. I find the staff to be unresponsive. My child has been bullied and tormented and the school has taken no action.

It's an awesome junior high. Currently I'm a 6th grader, and they've been so welcoming an inviting ever since my first day. The education is excellent, and I would hate to transfer to another middle school. It's a very clean and positive campus. The dean, Mr. Acevedo, makes us feel all safe, and I'd feel so good after talking to one of the counselors. :)

I love the school because it has been amazing for my daughter her grades have improved and the teachers are just wonderful and all have a great realtionship with the parents

Im currently going to enter my eight grade year at Holmes Middle School and overall, my three years at this school have been great. This year they will be adding a music program plus they have open up the elective choices for the students. They are going to offer languages which count towards high school credits, which is amazing. The food isnt good, and not healthy at all. One of the best programs in this school is the A.C.E program, where students earn a an award based on their grade point average and get like coupons for a free homework pass, or quiz upgrade, etc. Sometimes, however, the magnet students will receive more attention then the SAS and Regular students. Holmes has an amzing math department, the teachers go at a speed at which you can truley understand the concept you are learning. Dr.Vallone is taking this school to the top!
