I have been a freeport student for 4 yrs about to graduate entering this school as a freshmen the scholl was not bad but over the years it has gone down hill fast and is not improving at all.
I was a student at Freeport High for 3 months and decided to move back to my dad's in MS and finish school there. I didn't feel the teachers interacted well with most students. The time between classes to get where you needed to go was ridiculous, its a 3 story school. I moved back to Freeport after I graduated. I do not feel comfortable with my daughter attending Freeport School District. I would rather pay the money to put her in a Private school.
The teachers are great and they make sure your child is challenged and communicate well with parents.
I think freeport high school is terrific. Not only do they offer a fine academic program but the electives are aweome! Not to mention our award winning music program and our excellent musical/drama program and 'showtime'. I have three kids who are pretzels. They are very proud.
