My family has recently went on a little adventure to spend the next year in seattle washington. Before now my children have always attended granby schools. Even though the school system here may be more advanced, know one could ever make you feel at home like east newton can. I highly recommened this school to anyone that needs a place to call home. we miss you all dearly the zimmermans.

Budget cuts and too little teachers. The result is poor education, rebellious kids and a program called PLATO. PLATO is a substitute for kids that is on computers for 7 & 8 graders. I'm not sure about the rest of the school. They only recieve 1 hour of Communication Arts/English. There are few opportunities for the kids to use artistic and musical abilities. The only good thing I have to say about this school is that the QUEST program is amazing. QUEST is a program for gifted students. All of the QUEST kids got to go to Oddesy of the Mind World Finals in Des Moines, Iowa.

The test results by subgroup show how the designated group of students is performing in comparison to the general population. The above statement should represent students performances, not their ability to pay for lunch. I understand the comparsions and subgroups will help researchers, but I see no need to place teh percent of student pop. who have reduced or free meals. This is another form of pigion holeing on large scale. It serves no purpose other than helping sociology majors complete research. This is not what this site is intended. The test results by subgroup show how the designated group of students is performing in comparison to the general population
