John Vanderburg Elementary School

I dissapointed at this school totaly. They teach kids just for the test score.

Having moved to a high end part of California, I was quick to realize that there is nothing, not even a private school, that compares with Vanderburg. We sincerely miss nothing of the valley, the corrupt religious leaders and politicians, the heat, the cold, the winds... But we miss Vanderburg!

2 of my 3 children go to Vanderburg, and I can't wait for the third to be old enough to go! Such an amazing school-the vice principal is very hands-on and extremely caring. Vanderburg is the #1 thing that keeps us in Henderson!

All four of my children attend Vanderburg, and it is a fantastic school. It is agressive and challenging , above all in tune with their students.. Both the principle and the assistant principle are personable and active in the academic lives of their students and teachers. My family and I had an unexpected loss in our family, and the entire school, and staff have been there for all of us. I could not have asked for such a smooth, protective transition for my children...
