George Washington Middle School

It is amazing. My daughter is in G&T in 6th grade. It is really hard for her but I think in the long run it will help her.

I really love George Washington Middle School. They have a great curriculum and the building is in good condition. They have many great extracurricular activities. I like that the teachers will help you one on one if you are having trouble with a lesson. However, I think that the 6th grade Gifted and Talented program should have a new curriculum, because it is exactly the same as the regular curriculum. Also, there are a few teachers I am displeased with. I think the school should do more thorough observing of teachers before hiring them. Another complaint I have is that the 8th grade lockers MUST be redone. They do not lock, and other students may steal you/your child's belongings. And perhaps they could get more full lockers (as opposed to half-lockers) put in upstairs, as there are many unused lockers.

there is many academic programs as well as extracrricular activities, for the many children to be invloved in. Canteens. Many parents support them and i am one of those supporters!

We are very happy with g.Washington middle school...We moved here in aug..And i thought that my son would have a difficult adjusting...But everyone at the school were so helpful ....And made the transition as comfortable as possible...The academic programs are excellent ...Along with the teaching staff...The extracurricular are the same..And again i must say the teaching and support staff at the school are great...The parents are alway asked to be involve and are kept informed of your child at all times...They are more then happy to assist you....Again we are extremely happy...And greatful...
