The worst two years of my life. With very few exceptions, the teachers don't care about their work or students. The school is over crowded. The teachers and students don't like the administration and it shows. Do your child a favor and find a different school.

My daughter currently goes to PHS and this is the most horrible school she has ever gone to. Majority of the staff in the front office are way to condensidning, and do NOT listen to what the parent or student has to say. The school is way to tiny for all of the students. and its trashy. You walk onto campus and there is trash everywhere! it is not well taken care of. This school also seem to 'specialize' certain students, which is not right what-so-ever. All students should be treated the same. And some of the students who break rules will get into trouble, when other students will just get away with it. its my daughters senior year this year, and she will not be graduation from this school. The only good experience we have had at this school has been the science teachers!

I've had two kids graduate from PHS, and overall, it was a good experience. They received numerous scholarships and both tested around 1500 on the SATs. As always, there are good and bad teachers, but that is just like the world they're entering. I do feel there is a need for a change in the principal. The school is overcrowded and the dress code needs enforced. I feel that the students are safe, however, and opportunities are available for all who want to excel.
