Simply wonderful! I have a young man with autism and his teachers are just great. Came from Puerto Rico looking for a good school for my son, and thank God I found it her at Winter Garden, Florida.

I am a current sophmore at West Orange High School and I love this amazing school! The teachers are always trying to help you out. Most of the kids are caring and actually want to help out the school become better. We have such great clubs and our band is no different. The school's teams know what they're doing. At WOHS we have unity, respect, and teamwork all around. I'm so proud to be a West Orange Worrior! Keep up the great work Worriors!

I am a freshmen here at WOHS and I absolutley loved it. The first week of school went smoothly and i made alot of new friends in the drama department and the upperclassmen are nice and respectful to the underclassmen and everyone including the adminstration, teachers, staff and students are very nice and well rounded people. the academics are excellent with Regulars, Honors, Pre-AP and AP classes to challenge students to become life long learners and become academilcaly ready for future AP classes in High School or Univeristy. I always thought this school was bad. But it is so awesome and I recommeded people from everywhere to attend classes here at West Orange High School, Go Warriors!

West Orange High School is not perfect, but no school is. Our leader, James Larsen, has the vision and ability to take this school and its students to great heights. In the past year he and his Admin. Team raised the school grade from a C to a B, which is no easy feat if you have any insight at all into the guidelines of Florida's state scoring system! Granted, there are probably some teachers that don't care as much as others, but think about where you work, live, and reside. There are people like this everywhere. Our public education system is no different. The big problem is the union system that they hide behind, that keeps them from being removed easily. In my opinion, as a very involved parent, you must teach your kids morals and discipline at home first so that the teachers can do their jobs.
