I honestly thought this school would be good for my son, especially because the outside appearance was nicer then some other schools I have seen. I am very disappointed to say that the staff and academic curriculum has been below my expectations. When I voice a concern, I have had negative feedback.
This school has been great for my son. He is in specials class, they have help get him there. They also have listen to us the parents alot which has been great. He was at another school which was not even sending him to the class he was mandated to go to. We well keep him here until middle school. Also the teachers here really do care, it's more then just a job to them, which means alot to most of us parents.
The teachers and programs are fabulous with students who are behind or below achievement levels. However, we're having extreme difficulty keeping our above-average (academically) son interested. It's almost like the teacher doesn't know what to do with someone who readily grasps the material. We're looking to change schools next year.
Teachers were excellent with my children. Very happy with all of the 'extra' attention they give the kids.
