Combined, my children and I have been with Pinewood for 14 years with 4 years to go. I have been so happy with this school. The teachers are caring and really involved with their kids. The music program is outstanding and really ramps up in 5th and 6th grade in conjunction with the junior high and high school programs. They have a gifted program at Pinewood as well as specialists in visually impaired and emotionally impaired. I have like all my children's teachers over the years but there have been a handful of teachers who I would consider the finest I have ever encountered both as teachers and as human beings. I highly recommend this school ( and the rest of Jenison Public Schools) to anyone moving into the district.
pinewood has a great new principle. some of the teachers are finding out that they cant do whatever it is they want and get away with it anymore. there is definitely more accountablility. some staff at pinewood are great, some are not.
