We love Lovell! - Our son entered Lovell in 5th grade, However he was lacking in reading skills due to his dyslexia. I met with the principal first and he gave me a tour of the school and introduced me to his new teachers to be, Ms Lassard, Ms Tucker and Ms. Rosen. We felt that his teachers were able to give our son the extra time and encouragement he needed to excel, and I will be forever thankful.

I have not had a pleasant experience with this school. My daughter transferred in from a 'private school' and although she had trouble adjusting the staff were quick to blame. I complained numerous times about bullying in this school. I finally had to threaten with authorities for any action to be taken. Their response to hold a class at 8 AM on work day for parents to attend. Not exactly pro active. I am thankful that I can remove her for next year due to the No child left behind act.

I was very disapointed in this school when my son & I moved here. I also agree its very disorganized, especially at dismissal time. The kids are out of control! I was told its an A school, but I cant tell. My sons teacher is very nice, but he hardly gets any homework and when we were in seminole county it seemed he was being challenged more, now it just seems they make it too easy.
This school is very disorganized. If you have a problem dont expect to speak to the principal or vice principal. Dr Epps the VP does not want to hear your complaints or help you with your issues. He needs to get out! The school might know a little more about the bullying issues that are going on if he would report them.
