As a Tangelo teacher, I can truly say Tangelo is one of the best schools ever. The principal is outstanding and makes each teacher reach every child. The administation, teachers, and students are one big family. From the administration down, we go above and beyond in the areas of compassion, time, and finances. As far as our academic performance is concerned, our ranking as an 'A' school speaks for itself. Tangelo Park proves that all children have the ability to achieve in spite of possible financial and social challanges. N. Wright
As an African American I feel great pride in a predominately Black school that consistently excels. To attain the level of an 'A' school is a daunting task when dealing with children from 'less than perfect' backgrounds and home life--but the teachers and staff do it well. I am a proud mother and PTA member of Tangelo Park.
This is my first time dealing with the school system. I had the worst experience ever. The principal is disrespectful.Very unprofessional.
As far as diverse ethinicity, this school is not. The Teacher Mrs. R. my daughter had, was fantastic. Did everything to keep her stimulated.
