We have been a Montessori family for five years, PreK-Grade 3 and PreK-Grade 1 and have loved it. The elementary school teachers are wonderful, they truly appreciated my children and I knew they were not only learning but also being encouraged and accepted for who they are. I cannot say enough about how grateful we are to have access to such a wonderful school.

This school teaches individual and group responsibility. My child will complete the sixth year this school year and will walk away a self-motivated, accomplished student that can 'compete' and excel in any future academic environment.

I am a big fan of the Montessori philosophy, and I was looking forward to experiencing it with my child this year when she entered the program. What I found was an incredible environment, coupled with an administrative nightmare. The leadership is sorely lacking, and, at times, downright patronizing. With a change of leadership and more accountability, this school could be great.

I have been thrilled with this Montessori school primarily because of its 'open-door' policy for parents. Parents are invited to drop in and observe their children in the classroom almost anytime. My biggest disappointment is with accountability. The leadership of the school seems to approach each parents' issues on an individualized basis (one on one with the teacher) and policy changes are slow to non-responsive. There is no PTO and no auditorium.
