What I like about Cottonwood elementary is that they do not hold students back. I mean my son went there, his reading level was a couple of years ahead of his class. They would have to check out a book from the libarary at their reading level, took a test after that on comprehensive. I do not think a child who read at a higher or lower level should stay behind or have to catch up because of their reading level.

C.E.S. has been a wonderful educational home for my daughter, now in 5th grade. The Principal and office staff get to know each student personally and have always made me feel very welcome on campus. The teachers are very academically skilled and take sincere interest in the educational and emotional development of the students. Communication between the school staff, students and parents is excellent, open and comfortable. I look forward to my younger children attending this school next year.
