My son has attended Jenks East Intermediate for the past two years. He has some special needs and the teachers have worked hard to provide what he needs. The school is rather large but they have the kids in 'pods' which are areas where they spend most of their academic time. The teachers my son has had have been very supportive and kind to him.

My children have been at Jenks East Campus and have had a great education. The faculty is the best and the parent involvement is wonderful on campus. Their 'specials' class teachers are the best. My children get so excited about what they are learning in music and art. They love their p.e. classes. My children are gifted but are still being challenged at this school and are excelling in their academics.
Run, do not walk, away from this school. Sadly, many of the teachers are excellent and do a very good job, but deserve to be at a much better school. My children are exceptional students, and yet are still mistreated on this campus. God help the poor students! Jenks East Intermediate's motto is 'Positivity - Pass It On.' You will find it much easier to be positive if your children don't go to this school. Don't believe the hype and make the same mistake we did.

I atteneded Jenks East Intermediate for the sixth grade and had one of the most miserable years of my life. Like all other south Tulsa schools, diversity is almost non-existent at Jenks East Intermediate. As a new student, I had a hard time 'fitting in.' 'Social cliques' pervaded the school and the most content studetns were those who had been there since the beginning of elementary school. The Jenks school district in general places a high emphasis on sports, particularly its football program. Even in sixth, athletes would get special treatment from faculty. As someone who is non-religious, I felt uncomfortable in a student body reflective of the fundamentalist Christian values.
