I have been a parent involved in this school since it opened in 1992 and have found it to be one of the best kept secrets in Orlando. Although it is predominantly a minority school, there is no suggestion of it being less than others. The teachers have been wonderful to work with and when some students struggle with reading or math, there is always an adult to bolster them up, teach them, help. It is no surprise to me that it got a B this year.
I just transfered out of this school. And I am sooo happy that I did. Now that I go somewhere where we actually learn things I can honestly see why Ieft. This school is dirty and theres fights every 2 seconds. I highly recommend you choose somewhere else. I don't know who is writing these review because there certainly not people that go there. Even my friends all hate it.

I'm an honors student at cypress currently. People are always judging this school. Its not bad at all, I mean yes we have our bad students. The teachers aren't always easy to get a hold of, nor are the guidance counselors. The truth is Cypress is finally coming back our grade raised to a B. We have an awesome band I'm in band well color guard which is part of the band. Cypress actually does create a family feeling well at least it did for me. Its not as bad as people make it out to be. Besides if you go there to learn, and keep your nose out of things you wont find trouble. Its a normal high school.
