I do not feel that Deerfield-Windsor adequately prepares students for challenging colleges. I graduated in '07 as an honor student, which gave me a false sense of security, as I am now merely an average student at my university. Deerfield-Windsor focuses too much on athletics, and the nepotism associated with many sub-par teachers is appalling. Along with a closed-minded outlook on everything from applying to colleges outside of Georgia to political and religious affiliation, I can't recommend Deerfield-Windsor as a good school. However, it is the best private school in the area, which is tragic. You're better off sending your children to boarding school.
DWS is an excellent school! We had our son at another private until he started DWS in the fifth grade. Our only regret is that he didn't start in pre-school. Oh well- batter late than never. My niece graduated in 2008 and was extremeley prepared and is top of the chemistry department at the university she is attending. This is the best education offered anywhere in this area.

Deerfield Windsor is an excellent school. The students are more than prepared for college. They excel because of the caring and skilled faculty and administration. We travel each day to attend and it is worth the trip. Our son is at Georgia Tech and doing well because of the preparation that he received.
