JFK is a great school, teachers are are so good, but unfortunately they do not help the kids excel. They focus too much on kids issues & neglect to work with other kids to help them reach their full potential. It is so sad to see that academically JFK is always the worst performer in the school district, when they actually have such good teachers.
My son just graduated to the middle school and my daughter is entering the 2nd grade. The principal is great (he is fairly new so I do not believe that the previous remarks about the principal are about him). A lot of parent involvement, but some teachers are fairly young and inexperienced. Overall, I am very pleased with the education that my children are receiving.
Our 4th and 5th children are currently attending JFK. The quality of education, staff commitment, and nurturing atmosphere are exceptional. We have had children attend Adamsville, Hillside, the Middle School and High School. None compare to the quality at JFK.
good, nurturing teachers. Some parent involvement. very safe school- always a policeman close by. many parents unhappy with the administration including the principal. Alot of ESL students.
