Our teachers are great- the staff is understanding and all kids shine at Castle Heigts- we are a community where we choose to not get lft behind regardless of budgett cuts parents fundraise and parents volunteer we all work together

castle heights is a wonderful neighborhood school run by the community! i am excited to send my kids to the school i graduated from so many years ago!

Castle Heights is a cool because the kids are energized by their parents' support. Our kids are diverse, both economically and culturally. Our teachers are enthusiastic and our soccer, basketball, and track teams are spirited and competitive. We have Dance and Drama and Music and Art and Computer Lab and our very own science teacher, Ms. Lessman. We have a gorgeous Library and an excellent Librarian named Ms. Gallet, who helps us with our daily parent - run Homework Club. We have great intervention programs for learners that need an extra boost and creative activities for our GATE kids. There is a Garden supported by our own Master Gardener named Tess, and a 'Green Team' Club supported by Ms. Colina, where kids help recycle and learn Ecology. We have a P.E. program for every grade level. We have lovely murals, a big, grassy field, and a fairly hip principal. Swing by Castle Heights and see us sometime, we'll leave the drawbridge down for ya. (But remember, security's tight: you'll have to sign in as a visitor at the front desk ; )
