It's 2009 I deeply regret sending my kids to St Paul for over 4 years. They enjoyed the school while they attended, but when we moved and I switched them back to a good public school in our area, they were all behind, especially in Math. The middile school is really small (about 10-15 kids per grade) and the students have the same core subject teachers for all three years. The school seems sleepy. This is often socially hard for the students. Principal seems bored by her job and in my opinion should retire. New energy is needed. Nice community of parents but my experience proved the education was mediocre and curriculum outdated.

We moved our children to this school in 2008 after an awful experience at an area Catholic school. WOW! We wish we would have started out here! The teachers are fantastic, always go the extra mile for their students. Kids are not expected to be perfect and they thrive in the environment. The curriculum is strong without being too rigid. It is a great school!

I transferred my child to St. Paul in September 2007. After three abysmal years at another local parochial school, we finally found a school for her and every child. The administration is top rate and responds to the cares and concerns of parents quickly and effectively. The teachers treat students with respect and admiration and are committed to teaching every child - not just the 'bright' ones. This is old fashioned Catholic school at its best. Children are taught the fundamentals (along with many extras) and they are taught values and morals as well. The academics are advanced for the area, so the kids go on to great high schools and colleges. The families at the school are welcoming and friendly. Our first year ended too soon and we cannot wait for September. If my child could be inspired, anyone's could.

As a current Junior, English Education major at Ithaca College, I feel strongly that the education I received from first until eighth grade at St. Paul School provided me with the solid, educational background necessary to succeed both in high school and in college. It is with great pride that I attribute my future career as a teacher, at least partially, to my experience at St. Paul's School. The school's sensitivity to morals, high standards in education, attention on the individual, as well as its close community atmosphere all contribute to a truly successful institution.
