PCS has been a trully wonderful gift from God. My oldest daughter has been there for 8 years and my middle daughter has been there 4 years. The education they are receiving is top notch. The teachers are loving and compassionate. They have been completely supportive of my children and have strived to offer them everything a parent can hope for. Christ's love shines through these teachers. His love is abundant due to their obvious walk. My children are receiving a powerful message of Christ's love every day they walk through the doors. I look forward to my children continuing there and my youngest daughter starting there very soon. Great School!

A school whose intentions are good but unfortunately size and personalized care has dropped due to their large size. Classes are beyond full and personalized attention has fallen by the wayside. Specialized care and nurturing is given depending on who you are, whose child you are, and what church you attend. It is a shame that they have lost sight of the vision that every Christian school should have...seeing people as Jesus does. Thank goodness Portsmouth offers other excellent Christian school choices.

PCS has been a blessing for my family. I once consider transferring my kids to a different school due to burdens, but once I visited other school, and listened to the students and the atmosphere, I refused to allow these burden to be a everyday part of rising my children. My children has learned so much about the bible and it shows in their everyday lives. It takes a village to rise kids and I want positive people and teachers in their lives. I get this from PCS, not only the teachers but every staff there. Sure the teachers at other school are as good, but the surrounding also has a impact on how children think. I am so proud of the progression I see, wow. It is amazing. I have always been told, noone should have to tell you they are Christians, a real Christian you will know
I'm currently a student at PCS. Its got some good things, and just as many bad. I feel like most of the reviews here are describing a school I'd kill to go to, but its not a very real view. Its a traditional Christian school, comeplete with ALL the rules without lax of enforcement. If you want to escape the rules of seperation of church and state, you have to take on a whole new set of burdens. Its hasnt helped me, but its done alot to hurt my spirituality. I do appreciate the freedoms i have here, but Christian school is not for me. Some people love it here though, i think its all up to the person. I think alot of people would be happy here, so please check it out. It would be a mistake not to, because it also has the potential to do great things!
