Fort hamilton high school is a great school to go to and is the biggest in New York, It has alot of electives and wonderous classes to take.
My son is a military dependent. He came to Fort Hamilton as a transfer freshman student. We were so worried that he would somehow just become a number at the Fort. We thought as a military bratt he would somehow not fit in. However, my son excelled with the help of fellow students and great teachers. He is now a senior who is graduating having been involved in the arts (Jazz Band, Marching Band, Symphonic Band, musicals, plays, sports). He is an A student. It is a great school and I encourage anyone going to High School to come see for themselves.
