This is a great community school. If you want your child to have an education, he/she can get it here!
Its ok. Not the best of schools but its ok. Teachers should teach because they love to help our students. Not just because it is a job.
'All praise to Northwood High. May it always stand. Let banners of orange and white wave across the land!' As I reflect on Northwood and the fond memories that I had as a student in the 80's and the ones my children allowed me to share most recently, all I can do is be Thankful for the STRONG academic foundation that school provided us. We found what we were looking for and what we needed in a school and as with anything, you get out what you put in. The faculty , though many faces have changed, seems to mirror the same stern character paired with high expectations that I was challenged by in my youth. I am thankful that I was not coddled but nurtured and my children had their feet held to the fire to excel beyond what was comfortable. Thank you Northwood, 'we forever honor you!'
