Friends Meeting School

FMS uses a Multiple Intelligences approach to teaching and learning that benefits all types of learners. Teachers and staff work in true partnership with the parents to create the best educational experience for our children. The sense of community they have fostered at FMS is quite unique, and can be felt and seen immediately when you visit the school. I encourage you to check it out.

My daughter (currently in pre-k) has blossomed so much at FMS because of the care and individual attention of the teachers; she LOVES school and has a well-earned sense of achievement there. FMS staff truly nurture each child as an individual, and it has made a huge difference in our daughter's confidence level and ability to speak up for herself and for others. We love FMS's emphasis on values, respect, stewardship of the environment, and personal responsibility as well as the strong academic standards. We couldn't be happier with the school!

I'm dyslexic and it helps me to have small classes and teachers that understand how to teach me.
