My son started Kindergarten this year at Bath. My husband and I recently moved to the area and visited all the schools before we bought our house. I felt okay with Bath initially. I am still not thrilled that the elementary school starts at 7:22 in the morning; however, I love my son's teacher, Mrs. Curl. I honestly feel like she is the best Kindergarten teacher in the district. I volunteer regularly, and all her kids are reading books and writing paragraphs. My son's penmanship has improved remarkably. You can also tell that she loves her students, yet is very fair and consistent. I'm sure the other teachers in the area and in Bath are wonderful teachers, but Mrs. Curl is the most amazing Kindergarten teacher I've ever met!

Bath elementary has had a long history of great education along with wonderful educators. This year has brought a new Principal that has boosted moral and put even more of a focus on the children. He and his teachers have done a wonderful job of really well rounding the children, not only academically, but socially allowing the students to have fun while learning. They have programs that not only help the children falling a little behind, but also provide accelerated classes to encourage those children who show a strong desire to learn. We have faced the issue a levy not passing and having to drop certain activities, but we have been able to keep all the 'extra' classes that equally develop a childs education. Parents are encouraged to volunteer and many have been able to donate their time to better the school.
