i'm just a freshman but so far the school is wayy better than yulee i've went to both and the teachers at F.B.H.S. are 80% better and they care more about their students.

I Loved that school now that i'm in Tennessee it has been so much of a difference. If I could move back to FBHS I honestly would.

i went to this school for about a quarter and i hated it so much! i went to yulee high school before i went to f.b. and the people are so much nicer there! at fernandina the teachers are mean and the students are unwilling for anything or anyone that they havent known for the past 5 years. i know its a small school but still, you would think people wouldnt be so closed minded.

FBHS may be OK for the average student. You should keep in mind that this is a small school in a small town, so anything too terribly outside the norm you'll have to find elsewhere. For example, many of the more exotic AP classes (those that the staff wouldn't expect to have an audience of at least 30 or so) aren't offered, and students that require special attention and/or have unique interests aren't given the best support. There are the usual problems that you'd find at most high schools; as to if it's better or worse at FBHS I can't say. Most of the people in Guidance try to be helpful, but usually have booked schedules and sometimes aren't able to fulfill booked appointments; depending on your student, it may be worth it to invest in an independent guidance counselor.
