I have three children at CTK this year. Ms. Cotton was one of the reasons we chose this school so I was disappointed to learn she had moved on. However, I am very impressed with the new principal, Mrs. Chatham. She really listens to parents and students. She definitely loves what she does and I believe the school is going to flourish under her leadership and vision. Academic programs are being expanded and I believe CTK will be able compete with many of the more expensive private school options in our area. This along with the family feel and Christian values makes for a wonderful combination.

We came to this school last year as veterans of 2 other Catholic schools. This is the best by far. Our children, in elementary school, are doing extremely well. The cirriculum is challenging (especially the 4th grade as they are expected to be more independent in getting ready for middle school) but there is also an emphasis on being a peacemaker and doing good to others. There are many opportunities for positive reinforcement from the teachers and principal. They have recently begun an accelerated reading program and they have a great science lab, library and broadcast studio that the students utilize. There is also a dedicated health care clinic staffed by an RN and parents, many of whom are also RNs. It really is very welcoming here. If I had one complaint, it would be that sometimes the communication between school and home isn't as thorough as it could be.
the classes are better suited for those that are not expected to do well with peer groups or those that cannot connect with others.

There's not a day that goes by that my children, a seventh grader and Preschooler (Pre-K), don't look forward to going to school. Christ the King provides a wonderful environment for learning, as well as focusing on character growth as an individual. Having a child in both the middle school and preschool, I can attest to the school having a superb and rigorous academic program from Pre-K on up to middle school. When you walk inside the doors of this school, you can immediately tell that it is some place VERY special. We are so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community.
