Although a small school , the student teacher ratio is excellent and the support from the staff is never wavering.Although not one of the more affluent private schools, it does stress academics and thoroughly prepares a student for high school. Some of the negatives are the lack of a gym, an adequate library and an assembly hall.

I think this was and is a great choice for my daughter's education. She is doing very well and credit is due to all the one on one time the teachers have with the students. For it being a small school it has excellence in education and resources.

I really think Holy Name School is a really good for your children! Especially the new discipline that they have BIST!

The school is ethnically diverse. The school has a serious problem with parental involvement, leading to poor test scores on standardized Iowa testing. There is not a physical education program. The only advantage I can see with the school is that it does succeed in fostering respectful behavior. I would not recommend the school.
