this schoolis one of the best schools in new york they have the upmost spectacular arts program ever and its a shame that the schhol is closing
I went to this school for a year. I didn't enjoy it at all. The teachers were disrespectful and rough. Teachers thought that they should treat all the students the same wheather they were good or bad. Didn't see the principal at all of my 1 year of being there at school. Hall monitors would wave there walkie talkies in your face when they told you anything. People down stairs would tell you thing extremely different from the people upstairs. It was my worst experience at any school. It took 20 - 30 minutes to get in. You have to show and swipe your ID. Go thru medal detectors. I'm glad i don't have to go there any more.
when i went to this school it was probably the best time i ever had. this school is definitly for students with strong will. If they could focus in the goal rather than on the fighting or trying to be 'popular' they will make it out of here a much better person for it. Trust me anyone can make it at this school as long as you're not afraid to work for it.
The curriculum is ok, but there are a lot of outside distractions. If your child is not focused don't send them here.
