Dakota Valley Elementary School

This school is great and we have just seen our daughter excel! She is so excited to get up everyday and go to school. Not too mention her teacher is awesome and is very much engaged with us on her progress. I would though however, have to agree that the front office staff is not very attentive nor do they greet you when you arrive to ask a question, etc.

We moved in the neighbor hood in 2000, we have had 3 children attend Dakota Valley, all 3 are now in high school. We loved Dakota Valley back then and we love it now. We have a 3rd grader this year and will soon a kindergadner. We will not move until all of our children are out of Elementary. All of the teachers then and now have helped our children tremendously. The principals have been excellent as well, gotta say expecaially Mr. Kasper, he is so involed with the students, parents, its nice to go to the school and be greeted by Mr. Kasper. I have to agree, with others on one thing about the school, the office help does need to be more attentive to who has come into the school, not just buzz the door and not even acknowledge who has come into the school. This is an excellent school.Both of my children go to Dakota Valley. The school identifies gifted and talented students at first grade..Which I think is really good.

I think overall the school is great. Mr. Kasper is a great principal and really seems to care about the kids. My only complaint is the front office staff. There have been many times that I've walked up and had to wait for them to finish their conversations before they even acknowledge me.
