It is great school ,very friendly and family oriented environment. Wonderful and caring teachers!! PTA is amazing !
I have been part of the Apperson Family for many years. Only a few teachers have stood out as really being in it for the kids. Most are concerned with how the system affects them and if there are concerns with the well being of the children on campus but outside the classroom they are not interested because it doesn't affect them personally. The Parent Org. positive ness changes year to year. Like certain teachers, Parents too have personal agendas, and it is not about the kids, and those Parents the ones who make a mess of something that is meant to be positive. I imagine the Other Staff there runs about the same as parents and teachers. I dont think they really affect the education of the children and I have never noticed anything significantly positive or negative on my encounters with them. I'd rate this school as average.
Scores went up again, great teachers, great parents, great kids. It's like a little communitee on the campus. Has the best PTA around, it has the most parent help out the other 10 schools by 1000 to 1. It is the best elementary school in the area.
