Pine is a great school- the teachers show that they care about the overall well being of the students not just their grades. The kids are well behaved and respectful and for the most part get along with eachother. I could not imagine my child being in a different school environment.
Have been involved with many of the Washington Parish Schools, but find that Pine has a family base orientation. The teacher really cae and offer support to the students. They have the a great counselor who helps the students keep their cirrculum on track esp. those interested in TOPS. She is also there to give advise and offer options to students who need assisitance with courses.
Pine High has recently built an all new school which has proven to be the best in the parish. Great teachers and a motivating principal. Great extracurricular activites and coaches with great sports programs. Not as overloaded as Franklinton with a much better academic program.
