Newberry is a great school! It has a close community and teachers and adminstrators who really do care. I would not choose another school to attend.
I think the extracurricular activities are excellent, the clubs are wonderful, it's a small community, but it will expand and when it does hopefully it'll be a 5a school.
I have a 9th grade student at Newberry and I have to say that it has improved in the last couple of years. Spanish could use a total overhaul! Math seems to be strong as is English. Clubs are very lacking in school, they have them but do nothing with them. This is very sad for a student that came from a larger school. Newberry is small but could be much better with more involvement from all! I for one will be a more active parent next year.
