This is my daughter's first year at Adams after being reassigned from another very good Wake County school. I have been more than pleased with Adams. The principal seems to be very engaged with the children and knows most of them by name. I have been very happy with my daughter's teacher and the quality of education she is receiving. Adams has a very good character education program and the school encourages exercise and healthy lifestyles. Most important of all, my daughter seems very happy to go to school each day.

I am a teacher at Adams, and I have to say, coming from another 'good' Wake County school, I have so far enjoyed my time at Adams tremendously, and considerably more than at my last school. I find the office to be supportive and the parents to be communicative. Teachers are there for one another and 'team' is a common vocabulary word for all. Usually when you read these sites, it is people seeking out a place to complain. It was nice to see that a few parents were out to let others know some of the positives. Every school has pros and cons. I enjoy working with the childre and families of Adams.
My daughter is a kindergartener at Adams. We love her teacher - she has grown tremendously. The focus is learning and supporting all students. All my questions have been answered. The one time my child was sent to the office the principal was firm but caring. He immediately called me and we worked together to address her behavior.
