Park View Middle School

I agree with the Parent that says there is no communication with Teachers and Parents, my son has been having issue with his Teacher and I have asked the school and his Teachers to personally call me anytime of the day if there is anything that they fill my son is or has been doing that is not acceptable, or even to tell me if my son is doing well, I personally gave my Sons Teacher my cell phone number. Just recently I found out through one of my older Son's that my Son was having issue's at his School, I will be giving the School a call ASAP but I would like to know why we as Parents have to wait till our Kids are at a Point of no Return to Hear from there Teachers.

In my opinion, the teachers that are staff at Park View Middle School are not properly trained neither are they compassionate where students are concerned. There is not enough Teacher Parent communication unless it is initiated by the parent. This school has been a huge disappointment in my opinion. I will say however that the front office staff has been very professional and respectful.

My child is mid way through his third year at Park View and I am so glad he's been at this school. Any issues or questions I have had have been handled quickly and fairly. The teachers, office workers, and the administraors have been fantastic! They really do care!

I am not only a parent/PTSA member but a staff member. I've had 2 children attend PV, one over 10 years ago and one in 8th grade now. I have seen the changes that have been brought about by the change of administration and I can attest to the mass improvements that have taken place over the last 3 years under new administration. Changes have been made to help improve the total climate at the school. We have a dedicated and caring staff who are always willing to help students by going that extra mile. The schools test scores are improving yearly. Changes can not be made over night and it will take time. One thing PV lacks is parental involvement. We are a diverse social economical school and parents need to be involved more which will help improve the school total climate.
