LCS is wonderful! I have a daughter in first grade and she started in the middle of her kindergarten year. The staff is very supportive and the education is excellent. The classrooms are creative and clean. The buildings are safe and I have not been able to sneak by any staff member or through any door without immediate notice (believe me, I've tried). Words can not express how truly amazing this school is. Parents are very involved, (and are encouraged to be), and the school is an extended family. My daughter adores this school and so do I! Your child will be encouraged to grow and learn on every level in a supportive, loving environment. This school is also well organized and communication with staff about your child's progress is daily. Visit LCS and see for yourself! :) Amanda Parker

As a straigh A student, would definately say that LCS is very challenging and will provide a good edcuation for your child. However, the children at the school are not very friendly and I found it diffucult to make friends here. The teachers encouraged you to do your best but it seemed, at times, that they only had a one-tracked mind. After several weeks I eventually transferred to Lake Norman Charter School. It has overly exceeded my expectations and I am thouroughly pleased with it.

College prep school with high expectations for students, parents, teachers, and all staff. Very loving and protective environment. We are so blessed to be a part of this school!
