Both my daughters attended Memorial. My youngest is in sixth grade and I am grateful for the teachers who understand how boring class can be for a highly motivated student. The new differentiation model allows her to move ahead at her speed. I never understood why underachievers were always given special treatment and am glad that others are now recognized for their achievements.

this school is awesome my son went there and my daughter is going there this year and she is very excited

Memorial is a pretty good school. There are many sports, and clubs available for students, which are all fun. There are many other students to mingle with, and the teachers are almost all friendly and care about the students. The teachers may not alway be interesting, but they know what they are talking about, and have good ideas about how much homework is reasonable for junior high students. The classes are reasonably varied with Honors, Regular, and Integated in Math and English. There is (or at least was) a limited amount of choice for 8th and 9th graders, such as tech classes, languages or living classes. Facility is very well kept up. Overall, Memorial is a great school.
