The teachers are tops! The deep tradition of quality education started by Beeman Academy continues on, unabated...
I have a couple children at Beeman, we struggle with working with the staff. The new principal is a good start, but they need to have some evaluation done on the support staff. We are talking about the teachers assistants, these individuals spend more time socializing and forming cliques than working on educating children. If you are vocal about your discontent they will make sure your child has some difficult days and require you to come to the school on a regular basis. The admnistration and teachers do not enforce spelling with children at this school, it seems that is not as important as cursive handwriting. We need more parents input with the district to make some positive changes. Past parents know very well what we are experiencing, when their children attend other schools.
