I was a student in the AJUSD from 1st grade until the beginning of junior year at AJHS. I recently moved, but I'll always think of myself as a Prospector, and when people ask me where I came from, I'm proud to say AJ.
I graduated from AJ last May and I absolutley loved going to AJ! The teachers were some of the best around! I am proud to say I went to AJHS and loved every minute of it!

I attended AJHS and graduated in the early seventies and it was an ecceptable shool then. My fourth child I withdrew and changed schools because the special education system was a complete joke. We are invovled parents and went to every scheduled meeting about our sons progress. Very few of his teachers were able to make the meetings. The school psychologist had never met my child. His achievement scores decreased over the year of attendence. sShe was several years behind in reading and her scores decreased. Sinse leaving AJHS She has a 2.9 average up from her failing grades at AJHS and her reading has improved several grade. I hate to write this report as a lifetime resident, but when I stated my issues to the school I was dismissed.
