After reading all the reviews, I was concerned about putting my son in this school. He is beginning his 2nd year at this school now, and I have to say, I couldn't be happier. The school is extremely positive, and the teachers really care. They have a great thing going at this school, and I'm looking forward to sending my daughter here too when she's old enough.

I am so happy that I am not the only one who thinks this school is in need of HELP!!! I can't agree more about the principal. At orientation, we walked past him and he did not even say a word. He was standing alone. my son said hello, nothing. Luckily my child is in a main building with a great teacher. I feel for the portable students. All us parents have made it well know our feelings about the school and principal and we are not heard. We are going to move out of this school district asap!!! I have a younger child and no way will I spend my child there!!!

This school needs a wake up call. They transferred the 4th and 5th graders to the new middle school but yet still have the smaller children in those unsafe portables. I don't understand the logic. Why not spend the extra money for an addition to the school instead of spending all that money on crappy, smelly, out of date portables. The head principal doesn't seem to care about anything. He doesn't like to return phone calls. There are good teachers at this school if you are lucky enough to get one. I am looking forward to moving my children out of this school district.

I think that the school is very overcrowded. My daughter's classroom size was 26 and that was after she had to be moved to make a new classroom because of all the new students who enrolled during the school year. The principle is very involved but there is only so much they can do with their current situation.I am very glad the new school will be ready soon for 4th & 5th grade but I think it's terrible that the students have to change schools mid year.
