I feel this is a good school. They need a little more work on the ESE program.But over all it is a very good school I am glad my kids goes to Fort McCoy
I have the highest respest for all the personnal I have come in contact with during the years my children have gone to Fort MCCoy school. Both have learning problems and I feel the school has gone over and above in providing them with good learning skills and a positive attitude. I commend them all.
I feel Fort Mccoy school is a great school.The teachers seem to be dedicated to the students and parents with trying to help overcome learning obsticals that some children may suffer from. I feel this school is wonderful with their dicipline rules. I can tell my daughter really respects the rules because she knows there will be diciplined if she does not obey the rules.
I dont think this school cares enough about their students or have enough parent conference. I also believe that a parent should be notified if his or her student is failing. By doing this the parent and teacher and try to find out why and what can be done about this instead of finding out in a report card mailed at the end of the year. Also the child might have problems in reading and should be in special classes instead of taken out for their school to score a better grade.
