I am a freshmen at Lake Weir High school I have only been a member of the school for a few months and my veiw or the school is among the highest. Transfering from middle to high was sure to be a scary thing, but the administrators were very kind and helpful. I am a student in the 'considering to be accepted IB program) I currently have a 4.7 GPA and am on the drill team as a part of the 'Superior' band led by Michael Jennings and Lynn Bennett. I am proud to be a 'Cane' and would recomend this school to any student young or old, athlete or child prodigy!!!!
I am a Lake Weir high senior graduating with a 4.0 and have taken 8 Advanced placement courses while taking all honors classes and the teachers are outstanding, deans are amazing, and our principal is to diee for! I love t his school and ill be super sad to leave next year. Its wayyyy better than forest : ] andd our football team is going to playoffs friday! Our baseball team will be unbeatable also this year
Lake Weir High School is an awesome school to be at. I am a Junior in the school and this is my first year there. In most of the public schools I've been in the teachers didn't necessarily care about the students all that much. They just want to do their job and get paid. But at Lake Weir High, the teachers actually care about the students. If a student is having trouble understanding something, they will sit down with the student and explain it to them. Not to mention, our football team is doing very well this year. :D And once the construction is finished, I have no doubt that Lake Weir High will be an even better school. Our principle, deans, teachers, and all of the other staff are really doing a marvelous job at this school.
I am a student at Lake Weir High. This is a great school. Many people think this a bad school but they are wrong. I'm a freshman student taking sophmore classes with a 3.4 GPA and in all honors courses. . Our school is also about to undego major construction and when it is done the school will be beautiful.
