Teachers are dedicated, motivated, and hard workers. Extracurricular activities limited due to rural location. Parent involvement is minimal; PTO needs to be resurrected.

Stanton-Weirsdale Elementary is run by the best people I have ever known. Mr. Zaharias and Ms. Hughes are the best of the best. They are very busy but take time out of their busy schedules to address anyones concerns and they act right on it. They encourage parent involvment. The guidance and speech teachers are also very very helpful. I highly recommend this school!

Our school is wonderful. Many great teacher that really give feedback with the parents and go the extra mile. but there are also some teachers we've had that you never here from the need to talk with parents more. There are not many field trips which is a disappointment to the students when they don't go on one all year. over all the school is a good school and the teachers are the best.

As a parent of 2 children attending Stanton Weirsdale I feel the teachers are doing an exceptional job. One thing that really bothers me is when my son comes home and tells me he watched a movie in music class (this is a once a week class). What I feel is lacking is after school programs to assist with children who are struggling in the classroom or activities just for fun. There are no funds for programs to help in thses areas and I feel like my children are getting ripped off. I wish they would offer a Spanish class, gymnastics or even a piano class after school.
