I love glen A. wilson high school because i have all of my friends there and because it's a great school that has help me improve a lot on my learning.
I graduated from Wilson last year and currently attend a university. In high school, I took a heavy load of mostly honors and AP classes. Looking back, I can safely say that Wilson did not really prepare me for college academics. The academics are sub-par at best and all the good, veteran teachers are now retiring. Some of the AP classes at Wilson don't prepare you for the AP exam. However, the sports teams are decent and there are many options for extracurricular activities.
This school is great if your kid is in honors, IB , and Ap Classes. But if he's a regular student, move him out. He will achieve so much more at another school. And if he/she is in sports, forget about getting a scholarship at Wilson. Sadly this school caters to the Asian community. How many football students are Asian.?? 1 here. So if your kid is good at sports...Dont come to Wilson.. Look it up.. you will be disgusted.
