My Grand Children have the best teachers and learning what they need to know for their age and grades. Great support system. Kudos for the teachers!

My child attended this school. I would highly recommend attending another school in the area. I did not think the staff and education experience were up to par.

I can't say enough about the great leadership abilities our principal possesses, all while letting her warmth and charm show with the students...The staff of talented, personable teachers is truly amazing...like a private school with a warm family like atmosphere in a historically charming school...we couldn't ask for more....

My daughter is a new student at Eighth Street and overall it is a very good school. The principal and teachers are excellent and I can see that she has excelled during the short time we have been here. Some of the office staff can be quite unhelpful and short with the parents. It is a very close knit school and if you are new to the school you feel a unwelcomed and uninformed..its like a 'don't tell if they don't ask' attitude. There are limited extracurricular activities. If you didn't sign up for the afterschool program at the beginning of the year, there are no options for working parent unless you opt for a daycare type pick up. 'Waiting Lists' are a waste of time - no call backs. Some parents are not very helpful as a resource and honestly, quite unfriendly and unapproachable.
