Unfortunately the TELC program was discontinued this year. My daughter was in the program last year and really exceled. There's a form of the TELC program this year (8th grade) and they still include the tutoring program for any student. Where can you find a school that requires tutoring help when grades fall below a B!? We've been very happy with the school overall and the new principal is terrific.
My son attends this school, and his teachers are amazing at communicating with me about his grades. They are very willing to talk when I have a concern. I guess it depends on what teaching team your child is in. My child's teachers are great.
every teacher has an bad attitude and the school has a horrible record of getting back to parents about grades
My daughter is a current 7th grader in the TELC program. She is very proud of her progress & accomplishments this year, & I am also very pleased with the accountability the students must display. I like the '80% +'for the average the students must maintain and YAY for the dress code. School is for learning~ Thanks FMS for holding us all to a higher standard!
